Welcome to my hometown.
In particular, Azumino, Matsumoto etc. in the Chubu district are said to be the original scenery of Japan.
The route connecting Tokyo Nagoya Osaka Kyoto is called the Golden route. On the other hand, the place you visited is called the so - called “Samurai road“ inside. Unlike sightseeing routes, it is for backpackers but it is becoming famous for “Snow monkey“ and Hakuba ski resort.
But it is a good place for instagrammable .
