Over to Israel, where Benjamin Netanyahu began his sixth term as Israel's Prime Minister on Thursday, leading a hard-right cabinet that promises to expand Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank.
The 73-year-old, who's currently on trial for graft charges, has made ending the Israeli-Arab conflict his top priority, as well as thwarting Iran's nuclear program and increasing Israel's military capacity.
Netanyahu previously held the top job from 1996 to 1999 and from 2009 to 2021.
In response to his return,.. Palestinians condemned the new government and warned of a "dangerous escalation".
