❗TYPO in Question 40!❗
What I meant to say was that you can recognise ∫ x^2cosx/(1+e^x) (from -pi/2 to pi/2) = ∫ x^2cosx/(1+e^-x) (from -pi/2 to pi/2) and so 2I = ∫ x^2cosx/(1+e^x) + x^2cosx/(1+e^-x) (from -pi/2 to pi/2) = ∫ x^2cosx (from -pi/2 to pi/2) and the rest follows from there :)

The full solutions pdf linked in the description has been changed to reflect this correction. Thank you for your patience! I answered these questions at 5am before i filmed this video 😂

The thing to note is that this is an exam for 17 or 18 year olds who are just out of high school.

Points to be noted :
1. The exam is for highschoolers
2. Students need to complete a course of classical mechanics, extreme basics of quantum mechanics, fluid dynamics, calculus, functions, 3D geometry, electrochemistry, organic chemistry, and many more topics in 2 years.
3. No calculator is allowed.
4. On average you get 2 minutes per question (Physics and Chemistry included). Although you can manage the time as it's not necessary to solve all questions.
Edit :
5. From mains only 30% of 900, 000 get qualified (in some years applicants reach upto 1200, 000+). And out of those 30% only 10% are selected after advanced.
6. Students also need to study additional subjects like language and electives for school exams.

Pros : students who are selected for the institutes have quite a level of knowledge
Cons : High school life is immensely stressful

I cleared JEE Mains back in 2004 and graduated from IIT Madras, it has been almost 20 years since I cleared JEE and now I can’t solve a single problem from this paper now (have the logic but don’t remember formulas to solve them). I didn’t realize how hard it was back then. Kudos to all the youngsters who even dare to give it an attempt at JEE.

We actually don't get a formula sheet and sort of that ... Which makes this exam tougher than any other like mit exam And I am so glad that the people other than Indian actually takes a look on the pattern of paper of our exams and even hustle and practice to solve so ... A very informative channel for those who actually don't praise the level of mindset of Indians... Jay hind ...

I appeared for 2016 JEE Advanced paper, I remember that once the paper 1 was done, the attendance went down to 50% for paper 2 . 😅🤣

NO formula sheet is provided in exam
Also here in INDIA CMI(chennai mathematical institute) and ISI(Indian Statistical Institute) have there own entrance test which is generally set on higher level to that of jee advanced so may be you can also make a video on that .
ISI have two parts UGA that is objective nd UGB is descriptive (question paper link)
would love to that too
kudos to your effort
you got a sub👍👍😊😊

Plot twist : These questions must be done under 1 and half minute each in advance exam by 16 or 17 year old boys and girls🙃

No we don't get any formula sheet or anything and on top of that, trigonometric relations are one of the easier things to remember for the JEE, co-ordinate geometry, inorganic chemistry and all and a hell lot of formulas in other parts..trig just takes 5 minutes to revise by the end of jee prep and the total time for revision by the end is about 50 hours so basically trig is really not much when compared to other portions..

It's sad that Math channels are rarely popular. As a math enthusiast myself I love people who love mathematics ❤️❤️❤️
I am on my final year of high school and wish to create a community for math enjoyers someday.

I have been associated with this channel for a long time but I had not seen this video which is on the question paper of JEE Advanced, I liked your method of solving problems.I am also preparing for the same exam.Thank you so much

For 16-17 year old studying in Class 11 and 12 with the time limit pressure it's hell of a tough nut to crack.
Specially when it's an elimination exam because ONLY 0.7% of 1.3mn students sitting for IIT exams actually manage to get a coveted seat in any of the IITs.
So you can imagine the stress when not even 1% makes the final cut in a nation where studying Maths and Sciences are treated as God level education.😊

jee advanced is not the hardest mathematics exam though it is very very tough the exam for ISI(India statistical institute) is the top one

My experience is that the problems, specially physics and to some extent mathematics aren't difficult per se, but most of them require a bit of creative thinking to eliminate many longer and nasty steps, which will eat your time in a time constrained exam.
The pressure of ticking clock and over a million competitors for a handful thousands of seats makes you take all kinds of stress and blocks your creativity and clear thinking, which, in my opinion is the actual challenge.

for the 1st ques, there is a binomial trick, write P as some matrix A + Identity matrix I, then P^50=(A+I)^50
use binomial expansion, while finding A^2 or A^3 u'll see it will come out to be a null matrix, easily expandable
