Fantastic video! Would love to see some more content engaging with atheistic/Nietzschean critiques of the Scripture

Thanks for the video.
It's even more evident now of the contrast between what the world powers seek and the actual ultimate reality of our human nature, our own existence owed to God. People now worship economic growth, political supremacy, military prowess; idols then in Pilate's time, idols now in our times; there is no place for Truth in people who are drenched in idolatry of human achievements, the towers of Babylon.

Thanks I enjoyed the video.
Also, Pontius pilot’s character match well with Frederick Nietzsche’s idea on the “ will to power” (reality but demonic) and other ideas. You showed a different perspectives on that scene awesome!!✝️👀

Nietzsche choosing Pilate as a role model from scripture is quite a frivolous and cynic motion. I am always wandering whether his attitude has something to do with his protestant background.
He was in a complete awe with Napoleon in his writings, I guess it is the same complex here with Pilate.

This was gold, so true in many ways. I think young minds are disillusioned to the worldview the modern world has to offer, and the time may be ripe to present the Christian worldview in a fresh and relevant way.

Just talk more slowly please, these usa accents can blend each word into a salad . Too important to gabble with a tied tongue in charity

Love the information, hate the ANNOYING, repetitive background noise. Why would feel this is necessary???

I sometimes wonder what Pilate must have thought after he learned that Jesus came back to life a couple of days later ... 🤔

I just couldn't get past you using the word "reality" so much. When you say "reality" I think you mean "world view". There's only one reality, not my reality and your reality and Pilot's reality. Though a person's perception may be different, it does not constitute a different reality, but rather just a different opinion or way of looking at things, and when that perception or point of view is not in accordance with reality (aka the truth)... that's when its wrong and that's what made Nietzche and Pilot wrong. I know that in contemporary parlance the word reality is prolific but I don't think that wide spread use validates it. With this kind of use one might think that reality is relative to experience when it isn't. That's why your message is muddled; because it at times seems to validate Pilot by calling his view his reality. Pilot does not have a reality that's different from anyone else's. He doesn't believe there is a truth even when the truth is standing right in front of him. PS, I'm not dissing you or your overall message, but I do disagree with the way you used the word reality.

You need to look at Peterson’s interpretation of Nietzsche. It’s quite a different look than what we Catholics are used to seeing in Nietzsche. Rather than saying he was an ardent atheist, you can look at it the entirely opposite approach of how he saw mankind “kill God” and asking the question of what is left for us? He asks this in a more bewailing tone rather than celebratory.

He found no reason to condemn Jesus personally he was needed for the story for the awareness of the situation. Large political dynamics, but at end of day people are the ones at all parts of that machinery and must make choices.

He made sure to give him the title "King of the Jews" on the cross and not "the man that called himself the king of the jews"
