I would go for the Volkswagen as it looks a lot more conservative than the Kia. the Volkswagen looks quite tidy and smart compared to the kia

i understand the idea behind the comparison of the video buts its not a logical one, GTE are very special versions, despite being hybrids. "contrary to popular belief" GTE IS actually a Volkswagen gt.
i think "normal" hybrid tiguans will arrive, this GTE is a niche

Friend has a Golf GTE and the economy is awful. Definitely the KIA for me. Plus a warranty that's over twice as longs as VWs!

Volkswagen till I die, baby! Seriously the VW. I wish they'd bring the Golf GTE here to the states. Only drawback compared to the GTI is it weight but 0-60 times are almost identical. I've been waiting for VW to restyle the Tiguan. Mk1 was just ugly

Kia Niro = 7 year warranty - £20, 000.
VW Tiguan GTE = 3 warranty - £30, 000 plus & plus.
Kia extremely reliable. Cheap servicing.
VW unreliable and steep servicing.
