Not nostalgia, but the bodies remind me of Fresno nightcrawlers. I think it would be adorable if you made a little family of Fresno nightcrawlers. You could make them pearly white.

We didn't really have money for extras, but somehow a tamagotchi eventually came into my possession in like... 1999, probably from aunts and uncles. For two or three idyllic days, everything seemed to be fine, although it slept a lot. By day four or five, it was a bricked keychain, and I never knew why. 😭 Thankfully, our farm animals appreciated my care and thrived. 😅 😂 Take that, ungrateful Tamagotchi!

I don't know what new nostalgic item you should make, but when thinking about childhood nostalgia, I remembered:
—those nightlight+plushy glow worms that would be a good stuffie until you started to fall asleep and their hard plastic noggin would crack you in the nose 😂
—the old Alphie talking robot with ✨ computer cards✨ for when you should be taking a nap, but you can't bring yourself to stop learning. 🤣
—And 🪸🌊🐚🐠 The Magic School Bus Explores the Ocean PC game. 🤩
With your love of ocean stuff, you definitely need to see if you can find a playable version of that!
