I'm surprised the events of "Daleks in Manhattan" and "Evolution of the Daleks" aren't on there. How many people did the Daleks abduct for their 'final experiment'? How many were turned into pig slaves? How many killed just for getting in the way?

Having been a young Californian living in England in the 60's I developed an early appreciation of The Doctor and the Daleks, and when I returned to the U.S. I remember trying to explain how awesome they and the Doctor were, and it wasn't till the early 70's that Jon Pertwee first appeared as The Doctor on U.S. television, (which is why I suspect he, and not my "first Doctor" is my favorite (apologies to William Hartnell and Peter Cushing, both of whom I'm a big fan of, but...) and I was able to share an appreciation of the Who-verse.
As always thank you so very much for the video.
To me the worst (maybe - biggest impression certainly) are the Daleks of "Doctor Who and the Daleks" (1965) and "Daleks' Invasion Earth 2150 A.D." (1966). Perhaps because those were the first Doctor Who episodes that I could pull up on video. (I was fortunate to have a father who worked at the company that created VHS - Ampex.)

The Season 1 two-part finale was pretty devastating. The Daleks randomly picked out probably millions of humans to face an inevitable death in a well known TV game show which was then watched by everyone on planet Earth. They also subjected the Controller to years of torture and killed her once she told the Doctor about the Daleks. Basically everybody on The Game Station died during their attack and possibly thousands more if they had managed to reach the Earth. They basically caused the 9th Doctor's regeneration because Rose needed to come back, help and save him. But overall the Daleks are definitely the evilest thing in the Whoniverse.

I get they believe in purity, but you’d think they change their design due to how limiting it is. The proposed spider leg design from the 1996 movie’s follow up could make them more lethal.

I'm surprised The Apocalypse Element didn't get a mention- where the Daleks crippled and stole the time travel technology of multiple races, invade gallifrey, and succeed in detonating the entire Seriphia galaxy filled with inhabited worlds in order to invade it once the planets reformed

Even if the daleks used the reality bomb wouldn't have worked cos I'm betting marvel, dc and several others would've survived and then the heroes and villains would come over and destroy them

Why do so many people mention plot holes w the reality bomb in Journey's End? What have I missed?

One I'd mention was the development and usage of temporal weapons in Engines of War. These weapons didn't just kill people but wiped them out from history. Anyway, this is probably my favourite Who Culture video yet as it accounts for expanded media as much as onscreen material.

The 8th Doctor did have to deal with the Daleks, just wasn't on screen as he was the Doctor at the start of the Time War.

Wait if the time lords were wipped out before the time war began the time controller would not won't to destroy and on the quest on destroying the time lords the wipping out of the time lords in the first place so the time controller couldn't even finish his plot because it will make the grandfather paradox or just a paradox
