Donald Trump has used Tic Tacs to demonstrate inflation to the crowd at a campaign rally, holding up a full-sized packet next to a mini-sized version of the mints.
The Republican presidential nominee said he had been given the Tic Tac mini backstage and had promptly decided to use it as an example of current economic stress in the US.
Trump made it clear it was not an ad for the product but they were very lucky because 'look at all the television.. it's the greatest commercial they ever had'.
