In this special Unfixed episode, a handful of brave individuals pull back the curtain (or rather, bedsheets) on their intimate lives. With sensitivity, humor, and vulnerability, they explore how chronic illness often "kills the mood" but through communication, honesty, adaptation and curiosity, they are reigniting their sexual and sensual selves in deeper, more profound ways.

A huge bravo and thank you to Dylan Shanahan (ALS), Rachelle Alford (MdD), Rene Morales (Trigeminal Neuralgia), Shayla VanTassel (Crohn's Disease), Johan Galeano (PPPD, Vestibular Migraine), Jen Trepanier Lupus, Autoimmune Neutropenia) and Brianna Cardenas (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome) for showing up for this important topic with such transparency and grace.

SOOO beautiful, humbling, courageous, transformational and, yes, intimate. Thank you for exposing your stories and reminding us all that intimacy is so much more than physical!

You have such amazing ability to capture our raw emotions and I don’t think there has been an episode of any of your videos in which I don’t end up crying ( in a good way ). Love you and thank you for allowing us to still feel like humans regardless of any limitations we may have due to our health

Ack! Apologies for the accidental clip at 11:59. Sometimes files coming back online after rendering play tricks on me. That was supposed to be Dylan typing: "Love you." Wish Youtube would let me fix that and re-uplaod but alas.

Such a beautiful and honest description. Thank you for this conversation. The “not enough” sentiment is so understood. Thank you unfixed community for your vulnerability to make us feel less alone, less misunderstood 🤍

I'm amazed at the courage and vulnerability and Love that these people have! Through telling their story they help all of us realize that whatever challenges and blocks to happiness arrive for us, we Can open to our own inner strength and find a way through. Physical challenges not only open the heart, they open the soul and allow for more light and Love. Thank you for helping these amazing Beings share their story and shine their light. As a sex therapist and member of AASECT, I think their story needs to be told and shared. There is inspiration for all through all they experience and the lessons of courage and Love that they share. Thank you!!
