Dr. Berg discussed what fast foods you can eat while on keto (ketogenic diet). These foods are not on the healthiest version of the ketogenic diet because the quality is not there, but it is low carb and the benefit of low carb is huge.

It is recommended not to do this regularly or don’t make it a habit, it is sometimes a situation where certain foods are unavailable. And note that some of these foods have MSG which causes a problem with the blood sugars.

I break my keto once in a while, no problem, Pizza once every 4 months, A pie once every Two weeks! Fast food, A loaded down burger, every couple of month's with fries ! It's the daily bad eating that gets ya! Keto since 2014 ! 63 years old and feel like I am in my 30's! Before I was in my 50's feeling like an 80 year old!

Just got back from a 7 day cruise. I ate every meal avoiding most carbs and didn't gain a lb. It's all about the carbs!

Dont be sorry! I kinda dont care about rice and beans anyways. For chipotle, I get a bowl with steak and carnitas, double, with cheese and sour cream and guacamole. So good!

Well...if you are out, travelling, away from home and have limited choices it is good to know!
McDonalds - NEVER! Their foods are overloaded with chemicals!!!
Chipotle - used to love to eat there. Their food is a healthier choice, cleaned up the foods to eliminate GMO's 💖. Of course their cilantro lime rice was my fav but off grains.
Taco Bell - sounds ok...just never eat there.
Chick fill A & Five Guys good options to know about.
I rarely eat out & if I do... for me... Panera Bread - salads are the best, not overloaded with dressings, Cobb Salad was really good, just no bread! They too are cleaning up their food to avoid chemicals 💖

What’s crazy is I’ve been eating chipotle in a pinch since I’ve been on the road this week. I did exactly as you said before finding this video today. I’m a great student whew. This is my favorite go to lunch meal while I’m working. I get double protein and tons of fajita peppers and some pico de gallo.

I was on the road last yr doing Keto and driving and was in the midwest, small town and needed a quick stop meal, I did the McDonalds Breakfast sandwich like he said on here, took the bun off and ate the egg and sausage patty. I also was at a Mexican restaurant for a training class on that trip and ordered Fajitas, and just ate the meat with some guacamole and a little salsa and the peppers.

My go-to meal on the road is the “Flying Dutchman" at In-N-Out burger.
It's two burger patties with two slices of gooey American cheese in the middle and only costs $2.10!!!
Another option is their lettuce wrap burger but it's literally almost a dollar more ($2.99) and the only difference is the lettuce!

Order your burger “protein style” at In N Out and without the ketchup and stuff like that of course. But ever since I started keto, I find myself cutting down on eating out significantly because I feel like it’s a waste of money when I have to omit many things while paying the same price. Fine with me, my health and my wallet lol

Dr. Berg. One correction about Five Guys. They actually have locations all over the world including Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, the Republic of Ireland, Kuwait, Netherlands, Italy, Luxembourg, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and of course the United States. I live in the Northern Virginia area like you and have a friend that is a corporate trainer for them and he's been all over the world working for them. Very helpful tips when people are "on the go" and don't know what to eat that is "Keto Friendly". I suggest you need to have a bag of Fresh Gourmets "Crispy Onions" & Navitas Organic - "Cacao Sweet Nibs" for your daily snack or sweet treat.

My diet from Monday to Friday
Meal 1 - 5 egg's (scrambled) and 2 hot dog's (cut in pieces)
Meal 2 - dinner (alot of vegetables and salt)
Meal 3 - 5 egg's (scrambled) and 5 slices bacon (cut in pieces)

My diet on saturday's
Meal 1 - low carb keto pancake's 5 pieces
Meal 2 - dinner (alot of vegetables and salt)
Meal 3 - low carb keto brownie's 5 pieces

My diet on Sunday's
Meal 1 - 2 avocado's
Meal 2 - dinner (alot of vegetable's and salt)
Meal 3 - 2 avocado's

Those are all excellent recommendations Dr. Berg, for those who have no other option and need to do keto at cheap fast food establishments. Another great place that I would add is KFC. They have a grilled chicken option, which has no breading, and you can get two sides of green beans. All you have to do is not eat the buttermilk biscuit that comes with meal.

At chipolte we take a sandwich baggie with kale, seeds, celery, coleslaw cabbage, etc. and we get their meat as side, or my husband gets the salad bowl, very tiny bit of lettuce, we ad peppers, cheese, guacamole as he says, mix in our stuff and it takes good. We don’t use their dressing, the guacamole and sour cream are plenty. Thanks doc!

My husband and I rarely go out. Sometimes it's nice to not have to cook. Are favorite restaurant in West Texas is Salt Grass or Wing Stop.

Thank you Dr. Eric. Need to stay healthy while doing a lot of travelling/driving. Good news: my husband has lost weight on Keto without even trying, and he feels some relief from his various health issues since being on this healthy diet for a couple months. His psoriasis is slowly improving. Thank you SO much!!! I did write a success story, and will write another as more improvements come.
