Despite listening to what you said about the camera being an upgrade, I think it isn't a large enough upgrade. It's like when a new iPhone comes out claiming the camera is better than the previous. Was hoping for a 1 inch sensor with a variable aperture like the M2P. The other features are an upgrade though. Great video, very detailed.

The advanced return to home would have been glorious last week. I had my Air 2S on the volcano in Iceland. And the zoom lens would have save a lot of danger getting close enough to fill the frame.

i believe they are just using a newer color science and backlight sensor normally have cleaner ISO and stack sensor is mostly good for rapid photo processing example shooting multiple images at the same time

The simple explanation to a stacked sensor:

Regular sensors have 1 light collecting surface. the bigger the surface, the more light can be collected. 

A stacked sensor collects 2x the amount of light because it has double the amount of light collecting surface than that of a regular sensor. its kinda like having 2x the size in a compact package. They "Stacked" the light collecting surface, fitting 2 surfaces in the size of 1.
