Also very good and also very unobtrusive, without everything is full of cables and screws. Very good work!
I have converted my machine to 2 motors with frequency converters, and the tachometer mounted on the wall behind.

The solution with the measurement on the carriage I find really well done!👌

Again, great design. Most cross slide DRO I have seen are mounted on the side and need to have protection from the swarf or the tailstock. Additionally they have some protrusion to accommodate the scale. Neat design imbedding the scale inside the cross slide, it doesn't introduce any limitations on travel to the chuck nor cause the tailstock to need extension (although you may want that too).

Nice…where did you get the DRO from, I have been thinking about getting one for mine but they seem quite expensive.

I just found your videos, Youtube has been doing a great job of keeping them hidden from me until now.
I had someone give me one of these machines last year that was a true barn find, mouse nests, rust, broken and missing parts, the whole scenario,
It's all cleaned up and working again but I am having a heck of a time finding good video's and info.
I just subbed to your channel, I love what you have done to yours and am hoping you will keep posting about it.
