Clarke CL500M electric mill head lift

First trial of mill head 12v actuator lifting head note: original lifting black ring at bottom not yet removed. Note: the battery was only a 7.4v 2cell out of my RC Jet so not at full speed (will be 12v supply)
Next job is the completion of the parts to move the complete mill head to the back of the Miller and be powered by 1100w brushless motor. This design is credited to Stuart Cox, his videos are on YouTube, thanks Stuart 👍
Also the 5” machine vice added also Stuart Cox idea 👍
Edit 20th Mar new mill head assembly nearly finished, have been welding all the 8mm sections up today, front to back less than 1/2thou out, left to right less than a thou out. Just got to weld the top box section and top plate now…will dial these out when tacking final welds on last sections.
