My pickup looks identical to yours and I made that same knocking noise yesterday. Then I lifted up my hood and I smelled a found splattered antifreeze. I checked the hoses and there were no cracks in them. So I'm guessing it was the water pump that had went out.

Pipe wrench and a dead blow hammer will get that fan off, just remember that the threads are backwards. When putting back on there is no need to tightening it as the centrifical force will do that

Wrong coolant was installed in the video. Use the Mopar coolant. Nice video. P.s. remove the fan easy when the belt is connected. Like the back ground music

Is there a reason there is only 5 wings instead of 6 on that fan 👍🏼 maybe he already took it off and mounting it on and I missed it… but maybe that what caused the water pump go out by uneven spin and wobbling 🤷🏻‍♂️🤔🤷🏻‍♂️
