Just bought the device with free lancets and strips.

At first I was wondering why it won't puncture. But then, I found out that I just forgot to pull the trigger mechanism at the back of the pen to cock the lancet.

It now works perfectly fine. My sugar is at 112 before breakfast. Thanks!

How Do i know if it's calibrated? It marked 131 2hr after meal, and tried again 1 minute later AND marked 110.

Can you use just any strips or do you have to use only sinocare strips???

The lancing device will not unscrew - any added effort will break it. My lancing device looks slightly different to the one in the intructions and video.

On the jar with stripes, opposite the dates of manufacture and expiration date, there are some numbers individually filled for each jar (constants, introductory ones), they are different from jar to jar, i.e. they mean something. If you translate the hieroglyphs by Google, it will be: level 1 and level 2. I suspect it's something like a party error or something like that.Who knows what it is and how to use it.

The instructions for this that it came with are VERY confusing, they should be updated. They clearly (both sets of paper) indicate the side with TWO contacts is inserted.
But it's the side with THREE contacts that are inserted, and the two contact side is the sample side, as shown in the video. That's really stupid.

Why, when there is a two contact side, show a blown up image of what looks like two contacts as the thing to insert AND cover up the other end with fingers so you can't actually SEE either set of contacts as they are inserted!

Also it doesn't say it automatically turns on, it should clearly say that it turns on automatically when it sees the contact inserted correctly.

So I was turning it on and inserting the 2 contacts, as it seemed to shown in the paper manual, and it was never showing the take blood sample now thing. Just - - -
