Russia’s weapons production has seen a massive surge in 2024, defying Western predictions of its decline. Factories are churning out artillery shells, tanks, and missiles at unprecedented rates, even surpassing U.S. production. However, beneath this apparent success lies a crumbling foundation. Resource shortages, outdated technology, and rampant corruption are pushing Russia's defense industry towards collapse. In this video, we explore how propaganda masks the reality of Russia’s faltering war machine and the deeper forces driving it toward inevitable failure. I would have to ask - if Russia's military production is so amazing, why on earth would they import weaponry from North Korea of all places?

After working in Russia between 2011 and 2012 I observed that this country would one day collapse due to the three reasons, they are Corruption, Corruption and Corruption.

The same reason everything else in Russia sucks, apathy, corruption, and substance abuse. Those three factors are endemic in Russia.

As someone that worked in the military test sector, I can confirm that Russian weapons suck. Many were tested, not one even made it into the target area, much less on target. We spent weeks searching for some of them that were lost in the mountains.

HUGE business opportunity!
Partner up with Ukraine & build a gigantic scrap metal processing facility...
Russia has provided a massive supply of raw materials.

Under current conditions, as far as I understand, the collapse is more likely than not. It is similar to their manpower shortage on the front lines. They started with an experienced (?) military force, but over the last 2 years they have lost a significant number of the veteran soldiers, who have been replaced with inexperienced conscripts. As more soldiers are killed or severly injured, most will be conscripts, because they are the cannon fodder, but some will be experienced soldiers. As time goes on the level of experience declines as does their effectiveness. A similar process applies to the weapons. Many of the people working in the production of weapons are inexperienced, which is really a problem when assembling complex, technologically advanced, systems. Mistakes in the production of the more advanced systems will affect their performance on the battlefield, resulting in more losses, requiring increased production rates, resulting in more mistakes and flaws in production. As with the manpower problem the equipment problem will continue to spiral out of control until the military industrial industries collapse. A good example of problems of manufacturing and installing equipment are the jamming systems installed on Russian tanks to jam the drone signals to prevent drones from getting to their targets. Turns out the equipment, assuming it would have worked, was improperly installed, and therefore totally inoperative. So Russian tank crews are going into battle thinking they are protected from drone attack, and getting killed by drones.

Big question is how long will it take for the Russian economy and war effort to collapse? I think it is like predicting when a structure will fail. One can see the cracks and the slow movement of the structure, but then something snaps and the whole structure collapses in seconds. I think we are witnessing that right now with Russia, but like the building, we won't know until it collapses catastrophically in days or weeks. I hope it is soon, within the next year, but there is no way to predict it, it will just happen, and Russia, it's people, and the world will be left picking up the pieces.

Russia has a lot of Soviet era stock, and I am talking A LOT. The thing is they have done little to adapt this Soviet era weaponry into modern upgrades. The oligarchs bled the Russian military complex dry. Failed to upgrade and updated their Soviet era military into a modern combined arms military. I mentioned they have a LOT of that Soviet era weaponry but they don't have time to train conscripts to use them so they are sent in with no training with old weaponry against modern weaponry

Turkey wanting rid of their S-400 defense system says it all, Russian military equipment is grossly, Overpriced junk as Putler and his Oligarch chums have pocketed the development money to pay for their mansions and yacht's, India and Pakistan also want their money back 😂

Conscripting their Skilled Workers for a Stupid No Win War is one of the reasons why their Military Industrial Complex is failing, because Skilled Workers are just as important than the weapons that are built.

SU-57 was made to match the F-22, not the F-35. F-22 has been flying for over 20 years in active squadrons, F-35's are around a decade of service for the first squadrons. They failed to match either miserably.

We are talking about a country with a GDP not much larger than Italy's! Their excessive expenses on repression and war are absurd.

Has anyone ever noticed the large volume of exhaust fumes pouring out of Russian tanks? They would like us to think it is a form of stealth protection, but, alas... it is just a byproduct of crap components. What is Russia's weak link? Degraded equipment and poorly trained conscripts, do more self-damage than an abundance of artillery shells.

Well, at least russia can take solace in their air defense being able to intercept even the West's most advanced airliner. Or even their own most rebellious oligarchs private jet.

Indian and Chinese imports of Russian weapons would have already dropped practically to zero if it wasn't for pre-existing long-term contracts and the need to maintain the Russian equipment they've already got.

So Russia is making lots of artillery shells...
How many barrels are they producing?
Because without the barrels that need to be replaced every how ever many shells fired, Russia will have no way to actually fire them into an empty Ukrainian field.

This does not take into account the number of artillery pieces that are being destroyed or how many artillery pieces Russia is actually manufacturing

The F-35 program was so expensive because they designed one airframe with 3 configurations to replace 3 different aircraft. The F-16 for the air force and air national guard, the F-18 for the Navy and the Harrier in US Marine service. It probably would have been much more expensive if it was to design 3 different aircraft for the purpose of replacing those three aging aircraft one of which was no longer in production.
