His mission was instantly clear to me when I heard him say in an interview that he felt music to be a better representation of a country than any politician. Those words resonated in me and made me fall in love with him.

Having listened to Asturias an uncountable number of times, I think what I like so much about his version of it is that it is just so cleanly played - some artists it just kind of blurs all in together, but with him, you can feel him hitting each note of it. Fantastic.

Why continue to listen to a song you have ever heard more than once? It is beautiful to see someone interact with an instrument and watch the interplay between human and spiritual, the human and the heavenly.

Truly beautiful. All the pieces were beautifully rendered.
The last piece felt soulful.

I had the good goose bumps running all over my entire body and tears in my eyes during all pieces that he performed. Absolutely beautiful skills! All I could feel was the tenderness of the way he played and love is what touched my heart. Thank you for keeping this video up for others to enjoy. Take care and stay healthy. (Smile)

Perhaps you should listen to what he actually said. He didn't call it a flamenco piece at all. What he suggested was that IF any classical piece COULD be called flamenco then it would be Austurias. He then went on the elaborate why he felt that. A perfectly legitimate thing for him to feel and express.

He's honoring repertoire of the past and does not intend to only do old repertoire. He's starting out with songs that influenced him before he introduces new material. You know why he gets attention? Because as a boy he believed in himself, sacrificed a lot, worked very hard, and he's actually talented! He got rejected by many companies before signing to DG but kept at it. Yes there are better guitarists out there but that's life. There are also talented singers that don't get recognition either.

I find Milos playing absolutely amazing. He is a skilled guitarist whom has inspired me to start playing again. I love his selection of music. For those of you who feel it necessary to post negative comments, maybe you follow the wise old statement. If you have nothing good to say about someone, then you should say nothing at all. Be kind, your life will be better for it.

I am seriously laughing at this comment because of how pitiful it sounds. I do in fact appreciate his tone and phrasing. His albums clearly showcase his talent. I have learned music in school and can also play an instrument. So I can appreciate good music. Please do yourself a favor and stop being so hateful.

Milos is without a doubt a good player and some may find him great. I thinks he is good, but not exceptionally.  What actually surprises me is the effect of the marketing strategy in general. Milos plays at a Master level and does that very well. Also he is capable of reaching millions of people, and that is from the perspective of the result of diverse musical-industrial strategies and his playing and personallity. But he is presented here as the new prince, the saver of the classical guitar as if there was nobody before or nowadays... and  that is rubbish.

He's a hottie and he can play just fine, thanks very much. Looks do not hurt a career at all. It's a real howl reading all the so-called "critics" on these youtube vids--so many opinions, so little smarts. Maybe he'll be one of the fortunate few musicians who can actually make a decent living playing music--I wish him the best and enjoy his work.
