My name is Bre. I took two years of small engine repair at the local college. When I left school, I fell into a wonderful job at a local small engine shop where I worked the counter for a couple years. In 2010 my husband and I opened up our own small engine shop in central Arkansas where I am able to work alongside my family and best friends. We saw over 2,000 pieces of small engine equipment every year, and answer 1,000's of small engine questions. We specialize in brands such as Briggs and Stratton, Kohler, Echo and Shindaiwa, but work everyday on MANY other brands like Stihl, Husqvarna, Honda, Craftsman, Remington, Red Max, Troy Bilt, Scag, Bad Boy, Hustler, World Lawn, Poulan, Mantis, Etc.. Hopefully, my experience I share, will save you Time, Money and Frustration in the future!

As a retired mechanic with USPS who worked on many mail sorting machines, I can attest to the many letters that were mangled during processing. I used to find many foreign objects that were squeezed, ripped and torn from letters. I felt bad, knowing the object was not going to reach its intended destination. But there was nothing we could do, once the letter was separated from the object. Padding will help, but smaller things are best wrapped or boxed, then mailed in a padded mailer envelope - not letter envelopes.

Open the pin, a little disk at the pointy end rotates so a slot opens. 😊

Bre, if you don't have them, ceiling fans can make it feel 20° cooler in the shop. I tried the a/c route, but couldn't afford the electric bill. The ceiling fans I installed makes it comfort in the shop without breaking the bank.

Bre check out these pliers. I swear by them and actually bought a backup set. Harbor Freight 37909 They are super handy for fuel lines and spark plug wires. And of course, we love all your videos !!

And that Bre is why I watch your videos. Totally honest and no nonsense. Thank you. Good news on Ron’s recovery.

The Fender pin has a rotating lock, just rotate the little "C" clip on the end. So glad you received the box "We" sent! -Mark and Gonzo the Parrot.

On an older Echo backpack I once had, I refueled it and spilled gas on me while putting the blower back on my back. After removing the backpack, I discovered the muffler blew a hole, then melted a hole clean through the gas tank. I'm glad it ran out of gas when it did.

I got this excat "square body" br400 stihil, it's gone through 15 years of commerical use AND STILL ON ORIGINAL FUEL LINES, FILTER, ENGINE ETC! Whatever they made the fuel lines out... I'm willing to pay 15 a foot for that stuff. This thing still fires up and goes like it doesn't have 1000+ hours on it... Original carb and assembly even with e10 fed through a decade. My friend has one that gets put away wet with e10 for atleast 7 months with probably 12+ month old gas and his is the same Choke it, pull a few and it will come to life! I'm tempted to order a top end kit because I can't belive how long this thing is lasting!

Home owner here/home owner use/+ use at in-laws house + neighbors houseI Bought a Sthill BR600 easily over 10 years ago. Probably closer to 15 years. A Sthill maintenance kit every 3 years or so. Mix my own fuel. It’s never given me a lick of problem. Starts on 2nd/3rd pull every time. Love my Sthill power equipment.

I agree so much about the 770! Perfect weight and power for the size!

Guitar pin 6:34 -- the hinge is on the right. On the left is the pointy bit. It goes into a fixed piece of hooked metal to hold it shut. Now there is a safety clip over that, with an opening in the middle. You need to flick that backwards to expose the open end of the pin hook underneath, and visible in that safety cutout opening. You should now be able to push the pin down to disengage it from the hook, and allow it to swing up through the safety cutout (similar to a safety pin).

I bought the PB-5810T the moment it came out on a wait list. I love that the 5810 is super light weight yet powerful. Currently it’s at the dealer getting the recall work done so hopefully I’ll be back up and running shortly.
