Hey Marty, I dont think ive ever commented on any of your videos before, but I just wanted to take a second to let you know I started watching your videos when I was 15 years old. Between you and another channel aturn3d, you guys were the only two channels that could break lessons down in a way that for some reason made more sense to me than the rest. After about a year or 2 of playing, I quit learning songs and strictly started writing them. I felt I had learned the instrument enough that I could write a bunch of music. And over the next few years after that, I continued to only write music, maybe once in a blue I would learn the main riff to a song I thought was really cool. But here I am, almost ten years later, and im performing in my friends wedding next week. I figured out the songs I wanted to learn and play and found myself right back to you. So thank you, for helping me out through my life, time and time again.
