I was in Hong Kong the day that Bruce died. I had a big poster of him on my wall and just kept on looking at it in disbelief! Such a gifted man sadly lost.

A superhuman masterpiece. People who call him fake are either jealous or haven't a clue what he was made of. Rest in peace Bruce Lee.

Too fast, too strong, too talented, and too smart.
That was Bruce Lee, a one of a kind ahead of his time, who would never be forgotten. A genius in the Martial Art world, that was Bruce Lee. SIP Bruce🙏🏿

You have people calling Bruce Lee a fake? If he was, he was the strongest, fastest, fittest fake I've ever seen.

His speed is incredible. Whether you believe a lot of stuff about him being fake or real or just exaggerated, you can't dispute his amazing physical attributes.

Speed alone I'm convinced he was a walking weapon. Frightening and fascinating.

You captured his unadulterated speed, even with the resolution you were working with. Well done.

He really knew how to generate a lot of power with all of his body with max momentum. The kick you see him do in this video that he does in others against a punch bag is a prime example of this and you rarely see others using it in modern day martial arts. It’s very straightforward and practical and generates so much power.

There can never be another Bruce Lee. There are good fighters, but no one can push beyond barriers like he did. He was like a big man inside a little man's body.

We've crested a chronological time limit, and entered the no child left behind/everyone gets a trophy era. Bruce trained long before he became an actor. He became an actor to spread his training knowledge to the world for inspiration. Like (Michael) Jordan, Lee would have adapted to his circumstances (for example MMA). He proved himself many times over. It's just been forgotten/not well documented liked we would have today. He was VERY confident in his skills AND always willing to learn more. He knew that no matter how big/fast/string an openent was/is, they always have a weakness to exploit to overcome. As much as life lesson as a martial arts lesson. Some of these comments are just trolls. Bruce wouldn't waste the time to respond.

I was working in HK then in the late ’60s & early ’70s. And I saw all of Bruce Lee’s demonstrations (including this, of course) when he performed at the HK-TVB EYT Shows (Enjoy Yourself Tonight). One of the MCs/presenters was Michael Hui (appeared in your footage too), elderest brother of Samuel Hui, then the most popular HK pop idol & guitarist/vocalist of the pop band [The Lotus]. Sam Hui is a good friend of Robert Lee, kid brother of Bruce. Robert was the vocalist of the pop band Robert Lee & the Thunderbirds. Michael Hui & Bruce were school mates at the La Salle College in HK. They are old buddies.

I think one of Bruce's biggest assets in the Hollywood industry, was his ability to dance. This is what he won championships at. Fight scenes in movies are timed, and strict choreography must be applied to stop any injury happening to movie stars valuable bodies and faces. Bruce had such accuracy on his feet, and knew the distance of his partners. Throwing hard punches and closely and missing was what he could do. It would likely all be rehearsed with music. This is why he could train people how to fight in movies. If you watch the old Trinity movies, when kicking started to become the norm in fight scenes, you can see them all dancing on the background.

It's a tragedy that we lost this man so soon in life. I would have loved to have seen this show produced and aired on tv
