Scott Lee taught me some 3 rail shots 20 years ago. This is a great addition to my arsenal.
Thank you!

Adding a 2nd spot behind the 2nd diamond makes this easier. Find the spot you want the cue ball center to land/hit, mirror that exact spot to the other side of table. Now aim from that mirrored spot through the second diamond. Whatever is directly behind and inline with the second diamond and the mirrored spot is your 2nd spot. It could be a light switch, cup on a table, chair leg, etc. That 2nd spot is the aim point for the cue ball. This will work on all 3 rail kicks. Jennifer Barretta uses this system.

I really like the symetric aspect brought to the 3 rails system, thanks again to give us more weapons to perfect our game!

Glad to see you uploading videos again. I didn't see any new videos for a while after the channel hacking incident.

Happy new year Dr. Dave, I came up to see the CSU campus and tried to find the location you play at. It's a good pool scene there and I am looking forward to going there. I was going to ask about actual pool teams as far as college teams and if they actually exist. I was told that it is a good way for sponsors to notice you and also move to a more professional level.

Great content on this video Dr. Dave and crew. Would you have any 2 or 3 rail bank shots to the side pockets? Thank you

Great stuff Dave - is there only one magic spot on each table (or four if counting symmetry)?

Is the “magic spot” typically a certain length away from the rail (2 balls it looks like) or no defined length away?

2:32 Foul because no rail contact. Isn't that ball in hand?

If it's a foul your opponent gets cue in hand in 8 ball or you lose a ball in one pocket, or lose a point in straight pool. I wouldn't be none to happy!

Hello sir, I want to ask a question about butt of a cue. What is the difference between expensive butt and the cheap one?, If the shaft we got the technology such as the low deflection which makes it expensive.
what about the butt ? What makes it so expensive ? Is it only for visual purpose?
Anyone who understands can please let me know. Thank you and sorry for my bad English😅

Very interesting but for the first time in years I am not sure how effective it will be... I guess because my country doesn't play one pocket

Sorry…I just now tried it on two different 9ft tournament table and it doesn’t work the way you got it marked with the top right/left spin. Got it to work hitting centerball from a corner pocket to the 1st diamond mark across the rail close to the side pocket. I also added about an inch futher from the first diamond
