The dude that cuts boots open to reveal the craftsmanship or lack there of wasn’t buying the company marketing claims and proved their boots to be just average…

Okay, thanks for the review. I do similar work and my twisted X boots are ugly now. Didn’t really last. Thanks for helping me not buy these

I've had 2 different pair, the Perkins and the Ryng, I absolutely beat the shit out of the Perkins for a year and a half, they still are in descent shape and don't leak, I've had the Ryng for a few months and they could be my favorite boot, I have over 20 years in construction which equals many boots, and for the price Brunt boots are hard to beat, the fitment system is great. If you need more room for thicker socks taking out the thin insole is perfect.

Thank you for the review, I was looking into getting a pair but I am going to take more time to decide with how they are having issues like yours after only 18 months.

I looked at these a long while ago. The Sole is only glued on. The stitching is fake. If you’re looking for something more long term that’s going to hold the sole find something with a stitch down or good year welted boot. Red Wing Iron Rangers, Thorogood Moc Toe, Red Wing Moc Toe, Red Wing Blacksmith, ETC.

Good video man.

Bought a three hundred dollar pair of Chippewas and the eyes fell out for the laces. Decided to cut my budget in half and try these boots. I drive tankers. And deliver gasoline and diesel. Let’s see.

I am a finish carpenter like you & most boots lasted 5/6 months @ tops?
Problem was thin leather, rubber welts not stitched into bottoms!
Problem solved :
Whites Perry Moc Toes with thee thickest leather (5mm) and leather welts !
18 months into them I just put on new soles $135 & the original costs were $340. I think I can get one more resole ? Then a rebuild or I will upgrade to the foreman lace to toe

Whites hv been around and stand by their product and will outlast all of the you can think of with the exception of Nicks !
Right now the Whites Perry Mocks 6” or 8” are priced low to sell

Throw that boot away Sir!

Hey just wanted to say I’ve followed you for a while now, your carpentry is really good— and you’re good on camera and have a good voice, keep on making videos 👍🏻

Nice video! These are probably the worst boots I’ve ever owned, or close to it. Hats off to you for making it as far as you did. I made it three months.

most folks would paint the holes up with a rubber type paint that seals up those holes to keep them around longer i forgot what they're called.

Good boot for the price but doesn’t live up to the hype or their marketing. Any person would run these ragged in a year.

I've never had a pair of boots last much longer than a year other than some double h boots that I paid a lot for. Any boot I had that is comparable price to brunt last maybe a year.

Welder here, I have the 8in marin. Their goin on 11 months now and honestly still like new. Aside from some weld burns and scuff marks. I like your review cuz it's real brunt isn't for everyone just like therogood and red wing sent for everyone either I have the midnight heritage from therogood too and in my opinion their ok. I hate the tongue and I don't think their vary conformable for the price. Honestly if brunt could make a boot like therogood I think they'd be top of their game. That and if they changed the stitching. Me honestly I haven't noticed any stitching come out. The only real things I notice is after 11months I need new inserts and thw comfort level goes down a tiny bit not enough to care though. And every once in awhile when I step in a puddle I notices a tiny bit of water come in but for 11 months I think their holding up perfect I'm hoping their make their brunt toe boot in a 8in for when I switch to ironworking. Well see how they really hold up then

I believe these are made and shipped from China to your home. I got scammed with a jacket I bought when there were Americans promoting it so I bought it and the company is in China. Never again. To bad the boot looks great and I would buy it only if the company was in America.

How much is Brunt paying you? Those are 30 kmart boots. For 50 more you can get carolina, thorogood boots that are much better. For 135 you can get rock rooster that have a leather stitched welt.
