Intel and AMD fanboy wars are a plague. Get over it all damn ready. AMD = Best Price/Performance ratio. Intel = Best CPU's at a higher cost. End of story.

I got the FX-8350 for $125 during a sale. If you're willing to wait, you can get them for fairly cheap during summer blowout sales, Black Friday/Cyber Monday, and other major sale dates. $169 is definitely considered "retail price" and you should probably not buy anything at retail price unless you have expendable income/are too impatient to wait a month or two for an upgrade.

Why are users so obsessed with being so loyal to the Intel or AMD brands? How about just purchasing what's best based upon your needs. I'm sure Intel and AMD don't really care about being loyal to you.

The video was a great idea but the gaming benchmarks are skewed a bit. If the games were run at 1080p there would be a larger difference in the FPS because at higher fps there will be more CPU usage.

As soon as you said SATA 2.0, the Intel used motherboard/CPU combo lost in my opinion. When I upgraded from HDD to SSD, I never looked back to the slower storage speeds. Simple internet browsers open up faster with the upgrade to an SSD. How many times do we use the internet a day? Think of how many times you will just even click that app or load programs up.
