I'm 5'10" 170 lbs, athletic but have barely trained the barbell deadlift. most I pulled on my 5th time was 315 lbs. not much. but this morning I used this trap bar style and lifted 300. lots of power in this movement.

Is there a distinction between a deadlift and a squat in Weck method, or are they essentially the same movement?

thanks for the fast feedback, this material really works. So one more question:
Is it 85% 1RM of the 45Weck deadlift or 1RM of the normal deadlift?

Howdy David, would kettlebells or similiar category of not using a trap bar for your deadlift present any risks of injury? A separate weight in each hand.

What proof do you have to support your claims on the performance gains being superior to a normal trap deadlift?
All you offer in the video is a how to, no explanation on why you think this odd position is superior.
