Today, we're taking a look at the most popular body style in Ford's Model A lineup, the Tudor Sedan. About 1/3 of the nearly 5 million Model A's built were tudor sedans. What makes this car so popular?

My God would love to own Paul's A. Professionally sorted by the man himself. Owning a celebrity car would be a great story to tell forever.

My wife had me swap out our rumble seat coup for the Tudor she thought the kids would be better protected and it rode better! What gorgeous Tudor

I had a 31 Tudor. Mine had a 283 Chevy and manual trans. You're right about night driving with headlights bouncing off all the flat glass. Also when stopped at a traffic light you must lean far forward to peer up at it.

One thing that impresses me about the Ford Model A and other cars of that era is the utter simplicity of the Model A Ford and just how very basic a car it is with only the basic essentials to do a road trip from one place to another. This is long before all the modern safety equipment, and all the modern comfort equipment and all the modern emission control equipment and all the electronic engine control equipment. It is no wonder that a number of people like and enjoy these old Ford Model A cars.

Being from Ontario Canada and watching your fantastic videos is such a pleasure and makes me understand that the early ford cars have been key in today's automotive sector

Paul you & T make a great production team, this video is very well done who's responsible for the editing? Your Ford model A looks like it just came off the factory floor.

I had a 1999 Jeep Wrangler with driver, and passenger seats that folded the same as the Tudor coup. Jeep calls it a "tuck & tumble" seat, and they are fantastic for getting people in and out of the back seat. I didn't know that Ford was using them in the 30s!
That will be a beautiful car for someone.

Your foam door seal idea is great. I would have loved to do this on my Tudor, but lacked your imagination. I’m 6’2” with big feet and fit fine with the stock seat mounts turned rearward.

Like your Model A videos. Lots of great info. I hope to own a Model A myself some day. A friend of mine owns a 1930 A and he loves it. He drives it a lot, especially in his east Tennessee town and it attracts people like a magnet attracts iron.

Just Got my 1929 Tudor a few months ago. After driving it about 20 miles on a wild goose chase to follow the bureaucratic maze of getting it inspected for the VIN, it stopped running - maybe some bad fuel picked up along the road. However, your videos have provided some bread crumbs to follow while troubleshooting and are always (with Tina's help and her own videos) entertaining and informative .

My main point here is the legroom issue, which I solved by making my own extension from the floor pegs rearward, with a tab for bolting down through the floorboard for the rear anchor. The extension is square steel tubing about 12" long with pre -pierced holes on all sides at 1" spacing, available from Home Depot in 3' lengths. By enlarging some holes to fit the pegs and my bolt fasteners, I was able to get an additional 4" of legroom. The driver's seat does not fold forward quite the same for rear passenger access, but enough for reach access. Didn't think of your trick of reversing the front seat pegs, but that'd not have given me enough, anyway.

By the way, the Model A Ford driving controls (minus spark advance and hand throttle), the fuel tank placement, and the engine compartment setup are virtually identical to the 1951 Model 170 Mercedes Benz I once owned and drove in Germany in the early 60s. Purchase price then was $75.00. Have always regretted leaving it behind.

What I love about your channel is you don't hotrod them. I like how they look original. Wish I could afford it.

Thank you Paul. I always look forward to your informative and professional YouTube videos. I would be honored to own this car. It is what my Tudor would look like...if I threw 30K at it.

Beautiful car and another great video with informative information about an amazing piece of automotive history. Hey Paul, the grin on your face when driving any of your Model As is like a kid that ditched school, raided the piggy bank and went to the candy store. Truly Priceless and enjoy you and T’’s enthusiasm.

its Saturday again, and by now here at our home in Curacao the Model A Guy or boy😅, is here and we enjoying your YouTube. Paul thanks for your always sympathetic and professional done footage. My 1930 Coupe exactly the same color as this Tudor, was for us a pleasure to sit and watch you presentation today. Thank you again Paul, and special regards to Mrs T., we here will alway look ahead for a visit to us here in the Caribean and you will be very well received to spend a week with us here in Curacao.
Paul & Tina without both of you and your daddy, my model A hobby is not complete. You became as from 2020 part of our home together with Mr. Emilio (my model A named after my belated Grand father Emilio de Jongh).
Paul thanks and again many years more for you and Tina, as your weekly footages and the contents, will always be highly appreciated.
Myron & Angelica.❤

What a gorgeous Model A! That is one beautiful looking 1931 Tudor, love the color and looks of it. If I had a place to keep her in and the money, I would be emailing you in a heart beat. That said, love this video and the ride and scenery was spectacular, Thanks Paul! I hope everyone out there has a wonderful weekend, bye for now.😊
