Choosing the perfect car can involve significant research as you look at pricing, features, and safety. A savvy shopper might factor in a model’s reliability and even owner satisfaction, a survey-based measure from Consumer Reports of how happy car buyers are with their vehicles.

Consumer Reports asks members each year about their car purchases. They provide great insights by answering one question: If you had it to do all over again, would you definitely buy or lease the same model?
They have found that the vehicles that live up to their promise—and their owners’ expectations—are rated the most satisfying. And that data was used to predict the satisfaction for 2023 models.
Combined with test and reliability ratings, owner satisfaction ratings give you valuable guidance when you’re shopping for a vehicle.

Below, there are the 7 most satisfying SUVs based on the latest survey.

being a Subaru fan of 20 plus years, it takes a lot to convince me to give up the AWD capability and high lift of the Subies. I am on my second subaru, a 2015 Forester. My wife is on her 2nd subie, a 2008 Impreza 2.5 which has been rock solid. My vehicles have been back more backcountry roads than most highway "off road" SUVs, camping and canoeing in backcountry. Gimmicks, touchscreens and buttons don't thrill me at all.

Thanks for nothing. If people knew about the expensive costs of even simple repairs and upkeep they, like a lot of your audience, wouldn't even consider anything with an electric motor. Try again with only gas models.

I have a 2023 Telluride XPro and it’s the absolute BOMB!

The 2023 Crosstrek hybrid engine is a 2.0 L (2:41), not the 2.5 L. The bare bones 2.5 L in the Forester and Outback is 182 HP.

I drive a Forester Touring with the saddle brown leather interior.
My passengers Love the rear heated seats and I Love the heated steering wheel during our cold winter months.
Both our Outback and our Forester are the first vehicles we’ve ever owned that we don’t have to fold down the rear seats to accommodate my wheelchair. It’s Awesome !

2:41 Which is it? The 2.5 LITER displayed on the screen or the 2.0 liter as the narrator claims?
Not that it matters, of course.
NO CLUTCH, NO SALE.

The vloggers do provide pertinent information about vehicle models that you can use to help make a purchasing decision. Features, options, safety, and price all factor in and it helps you narrow down which vehicles you want to test drive. Knowledge is power whether at the dealership or making an informed online purchase! So, yes do your part by inspecting and test drive your desired vehicles, but dont salt the vloggers by them doing their job providing a lot of info dealers don't tell, don't know or not interested in sharing. They're about pushing cars off the lot and converting you to a service department customer. Gotta keep that cash flow going.

I like Subaru, Outback or Subaru Crosstrek. These would be my first two choices. Then possibly the Forester you mentioned in your video. Thank you!

Dont believe what the vloggers all say, some true some not. Believe of what u have. Durability of a car depends how the owner use it and maintain it.

The Hyundai Palisade outranks the Kia Telluride in this model year due to revised softer ride.

Hang on you say a tucson is good. Lmao. Then why do they send you a letter to not park it inside an attached garage. I CALL BS!

Tucson Hybrid interior dash needs a redesign. That thing is an eye sore IMO. I am looking closely at the Santa Fe and Forester.
