This advice is very unique. Usually people say that dont waste your time stuck on one problem. If you are not able to figure out the solution in 30 mins, look for the solution but figuring out the solution yourself can help you retain it imo

Why should anyone choose this path when laid off is the ultimate destiny they face because after 40 there are other things you need to take care of which is family so keep learning till 40 and after is not possible and then you will be laid off no matter how hard you try because you have 2 choices left either go to the management side which is also very hard and the other is start teaching... You can't do a programming job till 50 or 45 you will be laid off then why should we choose programming as a career?? Start preparing for any govt job and after getting that there is ultimate happiness no one will dare to replace you!!!
