I’m so glad you teamed up with Gaurav. I wouldn’t have found you had you not. I’m American and a self-taught software engineer that did not study computer science. However, preparing for interviews have gotten me fascinated by competitive programming. I signed up for Code Chef about a year ago but had no idea how to start and have read several blog posts on how, but you’re the only one that documented your journey into how difficult it was at first and how exactly you did it starting with Code Chef. I met Lewin Gan recently, ranked 44 on Codeforces, and he told me that it is a real large investment of time and overkill for coding interviews as have many other competitive programmers, but I see some of the problems and they look fun to attempt, so I’m very intrigued and I think your video has given light to how better to practice when jumping from Code Chef to Codeforces. Thank you for creating this!!

I just graduated and started competitive programming now, I was into development and making things all my four years I really didn't focus much on algo and ds. Although I got a job at with somewhat satisfying package but not a great company. now I realized what I should have focused on in my engineering. I enjoy competitive now and wish to do it along with the job.. Like everyone else Trying if I can get interviewed at one of the giants.
