So it’s unfortunate that you started by saying Oakland is the wrong side of the Bay buying into a very right wing narrative. SF is 5.7% Black and Oakland is probably over 40%. Airbnb has about 2900 housing units in the city, mixed with foreclosures or developers buying up blocks and now they can affect the market. I’m gonna give you grace and watch the whole show but I appreciate your commentary but it started out sounding like a poverty tour. But it got better so I’m going to watch the rest.

Oakland is really a mixed bag. Oakland has some nice, upscale areas in addition to impoverished areas. Oakland has natural beauty.

I know you’re not from here when you spend your whole time downtown. That would be like going to downtown Boston to try and understand Roxbury, Jamaica plan or Dorchester. You totally overlooked the Black panthers, and countless other folks from here and I’m not even from Oakland but I been here. West Oakland, east Oakland, north Oakland - nope you stayed in a tourist trap. But it was still some good questions posed

Cool that you are visiting some spots in America and showing what it's like. I think people are starting to realize that America has fallen off in so many places. Especially in the big cities. I visited LA not long ago and they have homeless issues as well. I didn't see massive homeless encampments there.

Bruh. You on a broke travelers budget to stay at that hotel🤣. Only booty calls, bums and broke travelers stay there. You were right across from The Water Front Hotel, which is next to a waterfront winery and other quality dining options. Then you went to a few gully parts of Oakland, a few blocks of Jack London Square, and part of the Lake. You didn’t visit the Temescal Area, Dimond District, the Black Panther (not the super hero)Museum Historical area, Fruitvale area, Grand Lake area, Paramount Theater area… Next time you have the time and money, hit me up 💁🏾‍♀️✊🏾

Oakland has its good and bad locations. You could have visited some spots downtown or uptown to get a good alternative POV

If you want some good food try the Mexican food in East Oakland/Deep East Oakland. Hit up the food trucks or the food stands on the side of the road in the hood.
