The problem isn't landlords. The government allows the private rented sector for a reason, because the UK would be in a worse state without us! The government only built 40% of their quota for new housing over the last 3 years. 

Councils remain strict on planning policies with only 8% of developable land left in the UK.

The government has messed up on countless projects that have cost the taxpayer millions, this in turn has raised taxes and inflation (the cost of everything in England).

Minimum wages have not risen in line with inflation, meaning normal tax payers are prices out of nice area’s.
