On Moto Control channel you will find videos about motorcycles, motorcycle riding techniques, tips & tricks and online motorcycle training for beginner and advanced riders!
A little info about me. My name is Andrei Bodrov, originally I'm from Moscow, Russia, and now I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Back in Moscow I was a motorcycle instructor and creator of Moto Control Beginner & Advanced motorcycle rider courses, which quickly became the most popular courses in Moscow (well, at least the advanced one😁). My advanced training course makes emphasis on slow speed riding techniques at first (such as good clutch and throttle control, proper riding posture, proper use of vision, etc.), then proceeds to more advanced techniques (such as aggressive braking, trail braking, maximal lean angle). The course incorporates a lot of exercises from DOSAF slow speed riding (similar to police rodeo like motorcycle training in USA), braking and cornering exercises and motogymkhana style riding. And now, since I actively learn English - I decided to post some useful videos for both your and mine practice!😉

Since everyone writes this, it's necessary, I suppose 🤷, so here we go. Disclaimer: Ride at your own risk, you are responsible for your own safety. Me, Andrey Bodrov and my channel, Moto Control disclaim any liability incurred in connection with the use of riding techniques from this channel. Use common sense, wear full protective gear and ride in a safe and predictable manner!

I returned to riding 2 years ago after long lay off and have watched and learned a lot from very good videos from Moto Jitsu, MC Rider etc. I recently came across your channel and rate it VERY highly and think it is very underrated - you are very talented and explain really well and deserve many more subscribers - accent no problem ! Looking forward to more great content and tips - wish you well.

Great advice. Most people underestimate the bikes ability to balance itself mechanically.

Thanks for covering this. Just got my bike last week. Find myself putting my right foot down only on the right side u-turns. Yup, not using the rear brake... working on it.

This happened to me two times in a day. I thought it was due to fact I had to stop at the end of an uphill road, the first time, and then because I was stopping in a downhill parking the second time. Actually I learned here it can also happen on plain roads, probably every time you try to stop the bike while cornering at very low speed. Very useful hint. Thanks!

Never dropped a big bike. Only been riding 40 years, if you have no choice but to grab the front brake you just have to know it will try to drop in, stop the bars from turning with everything you have for the best chance of saving it.

The bike is much less likely to drop and will better respond to a foot assist if the front wheel is straight. That automatically reduces lean angle as well. It also helps to be in the lowest gear possible so that throttle control can be effective.

Can you give us a daily motorbike riding exercise plan ? You put out so much good information, but I always forget what to practice. 😁

Excellent illustration of the problem and powerful showing of the solution.

One suggestion, about the "Release of Clutch a little", this is one of the most important concept.

Could this be further elaborated as this is so important to emphasise?

I missed this key point and released the clutch to biting point too much and the bike stalled ( my mistake of course)

So stressing on this point and also explaining if not done correctly then what could go wrong will help!

This is a great video thanks. I’ve just started to take my wife as a pillion. I’m really finding slow speed manoeuvres to be much more challenging now… I’ll apply this advice … any other tips for slow speed pillion manoeuvres?

Great vids and advice as per usual. What's that big contraption in the car park at the stop bix exercise?

I do this almost every time my bike starts to fall over but generally I'm trying to stop already but then it starts to lean over and then for some stupid reason even thou I try not to I end up grabbing the brake even harder I think it's to try to grab the handle bar to pull back up but instead I grab the brake more

Hi,
In the stop box exercise, we use the front brake or the rear brak ?
Thanks
