This here is TIMELESS MUSIC! I was 6 years old when this song was released. I'm 58 and this is music! Not like the mess they are recording today. This is when singers had to sing. No autotune. Plus the amazing live bands they had back then. I say after the early 2000's the industry changed.

I was with my parents, driving to the Daytona 500. We were making our way through georgia-in an ice storm-and my mother was driving. At no more than 5 years old (my brother with me in the back seat, no seat belts of course was 4), i remember my dad trying to advise my mother on her driving, which essentially led to a very minor fender bender with a guardrail. My father, being a stock car race driver from Indiana, did not fare well in his tete-a- tete with my mother, of course. As they bickered I listened to Al Green as I cuddled with my blanket and my brother in the backseat. The week he passed away, I was in a rental car with my mom and my brother, whom I rarely saw after HS, and Al Green’s Let’s stay Together comes on, from beginning to end. To this day it’s my way of knowing my father is visiting me, whenever I hear this song. Thank you God❤️
