How would this work for smartphones. Most folks are using the low resolution selfie camera on their phones so they can see themselves. Better if they could use the higher res rear camera ... Periscope would help!

A flip screen for cameras without flip screen that utilises the ON CAMERA FLIPSCREEN... I have seen a lot of ways logic being ... ..."challenged"...You may want to have a comprehensive look at the way the LCD screens of Canon D5 Mark 2 or Mark 3, are attached to the body. Go to a used (camera) gear shop. Take a Canon 5D Mark 2 or 3 into your hand and try to (GENTLY!!!) flip the screen. After having tried an hour, or, how long you need, you might discover why it is so difficult to "flip" the wall of your living room...
