Hello everyone and thank you for watching our instrumental cover of Cohen’s masterpiece, Hallelujah. For all of you who have followed us so far: you know well that in each of our arrangements you will find Ele's rock, with her badass electric guitar, but also the classic side of Ari, with her acoustic violin. We recorded this song just as we play it live, without a metronome but following each other. The drums you hear are composed and performed by Ele (yes, she and the rhythm are one!)
Before recording the song, we wondered whether to add drums to such an acoustic song. The answer, in the end, was spontaneous: we simply added the drums that we feel inside us when we play Hallujah playing only violin and electric guitar. So the drums you hear in the chorus of the song are a bit crazy and erratic :) this rhythm section comes from our heart and we wanted to share it with you. The set is the wounderful island of Sardinia, Ele's native home. Hope you'll love it as we do.
