what if the internal hard drive is 750 gb (100 gb used) and you want to clone it to the new ssd which is 240gb? will it still work even if the first hard drive has a bigger partition?

I have an issue with the data migration task shown.  HDD and SSD do not share the exact same file systems in Windows.  All reviews suggest new clean installs of Windows because at the time in recognition of an SSD, windows will install different features and settings for them.  Migrating files is safe to do however, not necessarily system files.

Ok .... I have just baught the 240 kit but just twigged ? will it down grade from a 300 Gb to a 240 Gb ? shit i hope it does at a price of £ 170 ?
