The wife and I love garlic scapes and wait all year to get them. I just made a pizza with them sliced about a 1/16th of an inch thick with mushrooms, onion and grape tomatoes. When I snip mine they drip a clear liquid. I'm quick to lick that oozing garlicy liquid. It will also deter vampires and others.

Scape pesto! OMG! It’s a condiment in our house. We grow around 1500 a year and keep growing. Cauliflower scape soup! We make a ton of it and freeze it.

Free is for me! I’m 2 months into gardening and trying to absorb everything I can to have fun and a good harvest.
11 cucumbers picked and some green onion tops harvested is all so far, but surprisingly some of my plants are over 3’ and one is 5’ and outgrew the trellis I built 😂😂😂😂😂 ❤❤❤❤❤

And it's gone.
Garlic all harvested, another nine months has passed!!
200 odd bulbs. Need to build some more raised beds to get to that magic 365!!!

Soon be time to sow the next harvest!

Awesome and congrats on the 200 video! My wife and I appreciate all your time and effort. Thanks! Question, is there anyway you could sell us some of your garlic bulbs when ever you pick them? Sure would love some! Just let us know how many and how much! God bless you and family 👪 😊

Love the channel! Great as always. Your timing is impeccable for this garlic update. Here on the east coast NB my scapes are ready to be harvested. Some are headed to a family friend for Pesto. Cheers from NB
PS: due to the abnormally warm winter and early dry spring my garlic is 2 weeks ahead of any other year.

Hi :) If someone is interested I dry them and make garlic powder for the year. I'm gluten free and lactose free so I wish I would of known things like that a couple of years ago. Have a great gardening season everyone. And thank you for you videos. I'm a French Acadian from New Brunswick and you helped me a lot in the past years!!

I harvested my scapes two weeks ago. Today I pulled three to check on bulb size and they are way too small. What should I do?
I didn't fertilize except for using a good compost.

Can you discuss the look and differences in appearance and uses, anything different in growing for the hard and soft neck garlic sometime in the future? I’m a visual person so much appreciated 🙏🏼
