As someone else already said, I think a better way for them to bring back Maya would be through the piece of her preserved in krieg's mind. Maybe they couldn't return her to life, but perhaps a star wars style force ghost type thing. I mean, Maya was definitely the most spiritual of the sirens, spending so much time surrounded by monks on athenas studying the history of sirens. Perhaps she found a way to continue on as a spirit when her body was destroyed, just like qui gon jin. It would also kinda be like the siren version of jack returning as an AI in the og tftbl. Just spit balling but I think it could be interesting

Hopefully the opening has all of the events of BL3 fading out as we zoom out of some drunk psycho's head in a ditch on the side of the road as the real vault hunters drive by.

Good video and great theory, but this image isn't new. Featured in the Borderlands Collection: Pandora's Box - Official Launch Trailer, posted by IGN it appears like this at 1:11, but a larger version of this iamge is shown just before at 1:09, which is full length, has a large, non-golden pyscho mask centered and then another stack of characters on the left side, such as Fl4k, Amara, Marcus, Ava, Brick, Mordecai and Zane. Lilith, Handsome Jack, Moxxi and Salvador all seem to appear in the four corners of the image, slightly larger as if placed to be the most important.

This is just a really cool artwork piece promoting every game in the collection. I think them changing their header to it is a tad odd though, so maybe it IS something.

I don't know how the story would work but if BL4 has the opposite of BL3, more vault hunters instead of upgrade trees. If bl4 has the entire series worth of vault hunters playable but the gunplay and movement feel like bl3 then it could be the most fun borderlands. If they gave every vault hunter + this games new one that would be sweet. They could literally just port the vault hunters, fighting games do it all the time. Would only need to mildly augment them, make certain aspects stronger since they are older. Switch to talon instead of bloodwing lol

Another neat thing would be to have certain guns ported in and maintain their look from their original game or create an era system for weapons so they can look old timey and extremely modern.
