Thank You American Thought Leaders for this interview with Alice Johnson. I heard about her story when she was at the WhiteHouse.
One thing I feel we need to do is listen to each others stories more. Life experiences mold who we are. We can do so much better as a Nation if we just listen. This is the perfect example of HOW we can treat each other, in how Jan sits and asks a question, but then listens as the person says what they need to say. Thank you so much!

Bravo Alice! Cases like this should have the judges and prosecutors up for review for prosecutorial misconduct. They had the power to do the right thing and abused that power!

Amazing that she can come out after an act of miss judgement and still laugh without hate in her heart !

Until you have walked a mile in someone's shoes. Even when Alice Johnson was told there was no hope, she had faith. What a story.

What an incredible woman. She doesn't appear to be embittered by her tragic experiences, but puts all her energy into helping others. I wish her well.

Thank you for this important story. With all the undeserved pardons granted by Barack Obama, how could he have ignored the case of this woman?
