Are you planning to get to security and optimization at some point?

I have a vital question regarding security (and tangentially optimization).
When I perform a search in a file that is in the network (be it shared using filemaker network or server) is the search performed in the remote location hosting the file or locally?

The concern being:
If I use scripted searchs to prevent records from showing, I am actually preventing the records from being loaded from the network?
Or is the network traffic still wasted transmitting records I didn't want to show, wasting network resources and exposing those records to possibly being revealed via network sniffing, man in the middle attacks or things like that?

Would there be any advantage to performing the searchs on the server using perfom script on server?

Thank's for your ingenious series! We all can learn incredible things.

Since I copied the layout from your theme in my database, all Textfields in the header are not shown in scrollview. The rest is fine. Do you have any ideas?
