Pioneer DDJ 400 - scratch test

DJ 400, cutting test. The crossfader is nice, but jogging is a bit too small for my hands. I prefer classic vinyl ;)

Amateur question but what's the point of sliding the crossfader between left and right when you can just scratch with the circular deck only? Am I missing something?

Hi, Im an old school vinyl dj and I love to scratch. After over a decade away from my MK 2's, I decided to try the ddj400.
Just like the MK2 turntables there are a few tweaks that needs to be done on the turntable mats and arm weight etc... now Im a noob to the digital era. You mentioned settings and also where do you get the scratch cuts? Pls help me.
If I cant sfratch on these i probably wont get them.
Also can the crossfader reverse? I scratch on reverse.

I have DDJ SB3. Do I have to have Rekordbox software to scratch like this? I'm currently using DJay Pro for my software, which is a DJ app.
