Thank you for the explanation! I had a query about divergence calculation. At 4:42, it is measured as sum of partials of F1 and F2 in x and y directions which intuitively make sense. However, what happens if F1 is also defined in terms of y? Why do we not consider partials of F1 wrt y for that sum in that case?
I would imagine that a movement in the y direction would contribute to overall divergence via both F1 and F2
