I love that the character actually pose or flourish when you pick an option in combat. It sort of reminds me of the Mario and Luigi RPG franchise where the bros jump to hit blocks in order to select their attacks.

One thing the devs need to remember is to ensure the combat encounters are quick (aside from boss fights). With the level of animation and QTE’s in combat, you don’t want fights against trash mobs to last more than 20-30 seconds if even. Hopefully there is a quick eliminate function in the overworld for weaker enemies.

Looks like a mix of lost odyssey, legend of dragoon, and persona which I am all for. I am hoping the story will be good as well. Can't wait for more from the game.

It's visually stunning and I like the idea of the turn based mechanics with real time elements. I just hope that the characters, writing, and story are on par and that it avoids the same woke elements we see causing otherwise good games to be piles of slop.

I REALLY hope this little girl/woman is not the main character we get to play as. I have had my fill of "girlboss/strong independent woman" characters in the last few years.
