Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is our turn-based RPG incorporating real-time elements, focusing on a unique journey to stop The Paintress from ever painting death again.

In this early preview of the game’s initial stages, you will get a first look at gameplay in Flying Waters, a mysterious region where Gustave and Lune search for their missing companion, Maelle.

We are a small and passionate team, and we're dedicated to creating an experience that both honours classic RPGs and pushes boundaries in new ways that haven’t quite been done before.

This game gives me the same feeling as Remnant 2. An incredible gem in a place that not everyone gets to see but for those lucky ones who decide to give it a chance, they will have a wonderful experience. For that, I hope the developers take all the time they need to polish and refine the mechanics, clean up problems, and improve the user experience so that the launch will be the best it can be. Given the premise, the players will do the rest. If the game is good, the word-of-mouth promotional campaign will be what brings this title into the elite. Please, PLEASE, let it be good!

Was so looking forward to this game the moment it got shown in the xbox show a few months ago. Then I checked the website where they showed what games the devs liked and it made me even more excited for it. The gameplay here looks incredible and I cant wait to play it myself

I like the character dialogue, it is little to say everything, but this peek into their possible and future interactions was really good.

I felt a interesting naturality to the dialogue, the guy parroting "she will be fine" all annoyed was a nice touch XD.

this one the most charismatic and elegant game I have seen I quite a while. the characters, the scenery, the fighting style. All incredible. I already feel that Lune is going to be my favorite. Definitely a day one buy for me.

The QTEs during combat reminded me of Shadow Hearts. I love this style of combat, it keeps things engaging and rewards skill.
By the way, I can't commend enough the stellar art direction. It's looking great and definitely something that shows passionate developers behind the project.

Character run animations (especially hair) and battle transitions are still pretty rough looking, but myself and entire friend group are pretty excited for this game. Don’t rush this one out as it looks like a potential banger!
