Uphold : The Easiest Way to Buy Ripple XRP in the U.S. - Uphold Exchange Demo - XRP USD Fiat Pairing

Overview
Originally a fiat currency exchange, now also lists Crypto. As of today it offers full support for XRP - buy/sell/deposit/withdraw

First exchange in the U.S. to offer fiat pairing for Ripple XRP. Something that was supposed to be done by Coinbase

Uphold was funded by Greg Kidd who was an early Coinbase investor - He gave Uphold $60 Million to add Ripple XRP and expand services such as implementing hacker insurance etc.

Usage Details
Fiat Pairing - Technically any of their supported currencies can be used, however, they have bank connectivity for U.S. bank accounts, EU SEPA and for international members bank wire (with an additional cost).

Within Uphold you can send XRP (or any of our supported currencies) to anyone with an email address (they don't have to be an Uphold member yet). This is great as you don’t need a wallet address and exchanges like Bitstamp does not allow you to send to other Bitstamp users.
They are working on adding real-time prices for each crypto, in the pipeline.

Ripple XRP is now on Uphold and not Coinbase giving it USD fiat pairing which could send the price of XRP to $10, $15, $100, $589

I have been using Uphold for a month now to buy XRP and I haven't encountered any issues. I'm glad that they released full support so I can transfer my coins to my ledger. Uphold is very easy to use and transparent with the fees they charge. Doing GDAX to Binance is a cheaper way to buy XRP, but I like the convenience and I can track exactly how much my purchases cost for the day when I sell and need to do my taxes.

Uphold has not pulled through getting a BitLicense in NY, but I, a New Yorker, feel lucky that I was still able to sign up. All I can do is wait an hope that Uphold Obtains a BitLicense soon. Great video, man. Thanks!

You know that Uphold has had fiat / crypto pairing for a couple months (I bought some then). The full support rolled out today is being able to transfer it to a wallet or other transfers. And by the way, Coinbase is fully aware that people want more crypto assets and have stated many times that they want to support it. They are waiting for SEC regulation before they do so.
