How can we add purchased/ licensed ssl certificate in ubuntu, in real time scenario we would not use free SSL right ?

thanks for tutorial i try to use it in ligjhsail but give me error in lat step (sudo certbot --apache) in dns error
is this just for ec2 instances?

Can you do it without the domain name? I haven’t bought one yet but I’m just wondering if it’s possible to do it with just public IP address.
