I know the image isn't the best choice I've ever made but I see it from a different perspective from how Uta is presented in Tokyo Ghoul (anime). His neck tattoo that says 'Nec possum tecum vivere, nec sine te = I can live neither with you, nor without you' shows pretty much a ghoul's relationship with a human: they can't live with them but they need them to survive. I see it as an illusion a ghoul must live in. In order to live, they need to put on a mask (take it figuratively or literally). This song is about giving up and he gave up believing that people would accept a ghoul's existence. He pretty much accepted everything about his being, embraced the fact that he was born a monster. "You've turned on me a thousand times, there's nothing left here to feel" - again, a ghoul's relationship with human beings. Oh, God, I'm not gonna analize the whole song, but this is just how I choose images and how I look beyond a character.
Btw, I accept that people have different opinions and I appreciate every one of them. I just wanted to put mine out there :)
