Synopsis: Director Timothy Busfield's intergenerational drama stars Jeff Daniels (the film's scriptwriter), Thomas Macias and Richard McWilliams. A disillusioned Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright travels to a small Michigan town, where he encounters a young aspiring playwright who idolizes him. His world-weary cynicism about his artistic career is challenged by the latter's youthful enthusiasm and optimism.

Fun fact, this movie was filmed in Chelsea Michigan, my home hometown, and it is also the hometown of Jeff Daniels.

As boring as this may seem to most (outside big budget Hollywood, Indie/basically a one-room, shoot, etc..)....One of the BEST from Daniels and (story/dialog) had me locked in the ENTIRE time!
And the fact that it was filmed (as I've heard) in his hometown, is ICING on the CAKE!!
