FM Sitharaman announces changes in tax slabs under new tax regime

"In the new tax regime the tax rate structure is proposed to be revised as follows..

0-3 lakh NIL
3-7 lakh 5%
7-10 lakh 10%
10-12 lakh 15%
12-15 lakh 20%
Above 15 lakh 30%

As a result of these changes, a salaried employee, in the new tax regime, stands to save upto Rs 17,500 in Income Tax"

Above 15 lkh is taxed 30%, what a joke.
It should be 25 lakh.
10-15 lakh should be under 15%,
15-20 lakh should be under 20%,
20-25 alkh should be 25%,
More than 25 lakh should taxed 30%.

Indian Tax system us totally a joke.

Again, Employee Contribution towards NPS not considered as Deduction under 80CCD1,
