The cognitive denial is fucking hilarious! I was with a woman for 10 years trying to build a family and she screwed me over financially every chance she got! I was dumb enough to think she would change bcoz of the kids we had, she never changed. I lost everything financially but I kept sole custody of my kids and that's really all that matters to me. I was bitter about losing everything but I excepted it bcoz it was partly to blame.
