Okay I'll try to make this as brief as possible:

The performance at 5:40:50 is by the Finnish rock band Poets of the Fall as their in-game band The Old Gods of Asgard. They made that song specifically for the game and man is that segment of the game a fucking trip. PotF first did music for Max Payne 2 at the request of Sam Lake.

The performance was all live. Marko, the lead singer, was a little pitchy during the performance and he's not like that in the original recordings. He has an amazing voice, but the band almost wasn't able to perform until last minute because they had issues with getting their work visas. So they didnt have ample time for dress rehearsals and the like. Olli, the guitarist, can absolutely shred on the guitar.

Baldur’s Gate 3 really went on a tear in this year’s awards ceremony. I think it won about 5-6 awards. Was really gonna be shocked if it didn’t win it all.

Neil Newbon deserved it. When you play through the game of BG3, you can see the insane range Neil had, he showed all emotions, and made you truley feel like you were speaking to Astarion.

Quantum Break having a poor reputation still saddens me. It may have not been an insane knock out of the park, but it was still a solid game, and I hold a lot of fondness for it. Remedy tried something a little different and I think it worked quite well.

Honestly with games like Baldurs Gate 3 and Alan Wake 2 winning big, and people going crazy for whatever that weird Kojima thing was, artistry feels more alive and celebrated in games than movies these days.
